Self lubricating bronze bushings are manufactured by Zhejiang Chance & Union Import and Export Co., Ltd. from sintered bronze with a controlled porosity that holds lubricating oil within the material structure. During operation, the oil migrates to the bearing surface and forms a lubricating film between the bushing and the mating shaft. This allows continuous operation without external lubrication in many applications. The bushings are produced through powder metallurgy, sintering, sizing, and oil impregnation. The product line covers plain sleeve bushings, flanged bushings, thrust washers, and non-standard custom dimensions. Supported by a 33,350 m² facility and an annual production capacity of 9,500 tons, we supply OEM and ODM orders to more than 25 countries.
Porous Sintered Bronze
The bronze matrix contains interconnected pores that act as a lubricant reservoir. Oil is retained within the structure and released gradually during shaft rotation.
Bronze Grades and Additives
Material composition is selected according to load, speed, and operating temperature. Graphite additions are available for applications where oil film formation is limited.

Press fitting may reduce the inner diameter. Sizing after installation is recommended where precise clearance is required.
Additional oil can be applied to the bushing surface during assembly to extend initial operating life in demanding conditions.
Oil-impregnated bronze has a recommended operating temperature range. Exceeding this range may accelerate oil loss and wear.
Storage in dry, clean conditions is advised. Prolonged exposure to solvents or high heat may affect the impregnated lubricant.
