Weather resistant rubber bonded washers are manufactured by Zhejiang Chance & Union Import and Export Co., Ltd. with a rubber layer permanently bonded to a metal washer body. The rubber layer seals against the mating surface, limiting water, dust, and air ingress while also providing vibration damping and protecting painted or coated surfaces from damage during tightening. These washers are produced through metal stamping, surface preparation, rubber bonding, and vulcanization. The product line covers bonded sealing washers in neoprene, EPDM, and nitrile rubber with steel or stainless steel backing. Supported by a 33,350 m² facility and an annual production capacity of 9,500 tons, we supply OEM and ODM orders to more than 25 countries.

Usage Notes
Rubber compound should be selected according to the fluid and temperature exposure of the application. Neoprene and EPDM are common for outdoor weather sealing, while nitrile is used where oil resistance is required.
Clamp load should be controlled to compress the rubber layer without cutting or extruding it. Over-tightening can reduce sealing performance.
The mating surface should be clean and free from oil, dust, and loose particles before installation to allow proper rubber contact.
Rubber bonded washers are intended for one-time installation in most cases. Reuse may affect seal integrity and bond condition.
Storage in cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight and ozone sources is advised to preserve rubber properties.
